Ceramics

Hand building techniques are my favorite to use with ceramic clay because I can allow the shape and form of the clay speak for themselves. It's a particularly meditative practice to fully absorb yourself into observing and interacting with such a humbling material, and I love getting lost in my work in that way.
I was fortunate in learning how to fire ceramic ware at the University of Arkansas ceramic studio. I now own two used manual-electric kilns to which I hope to use to create more ceramic sculptures and commissions from my home studio!
